How we handle your personal information when you use MAINTD and book professional cleaning in New Jersey.

MAINTD ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you visit https://www.maintd.com, book cleaning services, request a quote, pay for services, or otherwise interact with us.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated when you use our website or services.

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, and business name (when applicable).
  • Service details: property or business address, access instructions, service type, room counts, scheduling preferences, and notes you submit in booking or quote forms.
  • Payment-related information: billing details processed by our payment processor. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Communications: messages you send us by email, SMS, phone, or through forms (including same-day requests and support inquiries).
  • Account and dispatch data: if you interact with worker offer links or internal tools, we may process tokens and job-related identifiers tied to your booking.
  • Automatically collected data: device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed, referring URLs, and similar usage data collected through cookies and analytics tools.
  • Service photos: photographs of property conditions taken before, during, or after a visit for quality assurance, training, documentation, and dispute resolution (photos generally show areas of the home or business being cleaned, not personal identifiers, unless incidentally captured).

How we use your information

  • Provide, schedule, and fulfill cleaning and related services you request.
  • Process payments, send confirmations, receipts, and service updates.
  • Dispatch crews, coordinate arrivals, and communicate about your visit.
  • Respond to quote requests, same-day inquiries, and customer support.
  • Improve our website, booking flow, pricing, and service quality.
  • Review service photos for quality assurance, staff training, internal documentation, and to investigate damage, missing-item, or satisfaction claims reported within the required timeframe.

  • Detect fraud, abuse, or security issues and comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

  • Service professionals: cleaners and field partners who perform your job receive the information needed to complete the visit (such as address, time window, and scope notes).
  • Payment processors: Stripe and related providers process payments on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
  • Cloud and infrastructure providers: hosting, database, analytics, and communication vendors that help us operate the website and back-office systems.
  • SMS and phone providers: when we send text messages or place calls related to your booking or dispatch.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Payments

Online payments are handled by Stripe. Payment card data is transmitted directly to Stripe and is subject to Stripe's privacy policy and security practices. We may receive limited payment metadata (such as last four digits, card brand, and transaction status) to reconcile bookings.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use our pages. We may use Google Analytics or comparable tools to measure traffic and conversion. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect site functionality.

Photos and documentation

To maintain quality standards and document service conditions, MAINTD and its cleaning professionals may take photographs before, during, or after service at your property. These images are used solely for quality assurance, training, internal documentation, and dispute resolution. We do not share service photos publicly or for marketing without your consent.

If you have concerns about photography at your property, contact us before your visit. You may also request information about photos we retain that relate to your booking.

Property, valuables, and unsafe conditions

We ask that you secure jewelry, cash, collectibles, firearms, sensitive documents, and other high-value or irreplaceable items before service. Our Terms of Service describe customer responsibilities for valuables, fragile items, and conditions that may require us to refuse or stop work for safety reasons.

MAINTD may decline or discontinue service when conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, or hazardous. We process information you provide about property conditions and access to schedule work safely and in line with our service policies.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. Booking, payment, and lead records are typically kept for several years unless a shorter period is required or you request deletion where applicable.

Service photos and related documentation may be retained for a reasonable period to support quality review, training, and claim investigations. You may contact us to ask about deletion where no active dispute or legal hold applies.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

  • Access, correction, or deletion: you may contact us to request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you, or to request deletion where applicable.
  • Marketing opt-out: you may opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. Service-related messages may still be sent about active bookings.
  • SMS: reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts where supported; transactional messages about an active job may still be sent as permitted by law.
  • California residents: may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including knowing, deleting, and correcting personal information and limiting certain uses. We do not sell personal information as defined by California law.
  • Claims and inquiries: damage, missing-item, or service concerns should be reported within 24 hours of service completion so we can investigate while records and documentation (including service photos) are available.
  • New Jersey and other state privacy laws may provide additional rights depending on your location and our activities. Contact hello@maintd.com to exercise applicable rights.

Children's privacy

Our services are directed to adults booking property cleaning. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
